We drove and drove to the very end of the island
Emerging from the short path, there was an exclamation of awe– “wooooooooow”
Breathtaking scenery at our snack spot
Time for adventure!
There were rock climbers
And beach combers
And Cliff Climbers
Little things to find along the way
And tide pools to explore
Miss Sarah set up big orange buckets. That was our boundary line to not get too close to the water!
The crashing waves were exciting!
Finding a heart shape in the rocks
And feeling sad because our sneaker got soaked from the pools in the rocks
It’s all a part of our PlayScapes Adventure…
….till next time
PlayScapes is a program at The Stone House Preschool and Kindergarten. Every other Friday, a small group of children and two caregivers venture out into the wild untamed landscapes of St. Croix. The mission of PlayScapes is to offer children the opportunity to explore in natural landscapes and instill a sense of wonder and adventure and perhaps give a lasting impression of the magic, serenity, and beauty that nature can bring.
